Simple Turkey Meatballs

These meatballs are perfect to enjoy with your favourite pasta sauce, in a meatball sub or for your next appetizer idea. With simple flavours in the meatball, they will absorb any sauce flavour you give them!

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 13 minutes
Serves/Yield: about 22 meatballs, 4 to 6

What you need:
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) dry seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 small clove garlic, rasped
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
  • 1 pkg (450 g) ground turkey
Make it Super:

In a large bowl, stir together breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper. Add turkey and using your hands mix together until well combined.

Using a small ice cream scoop or heaping tbsp (15 mL), roll out turkey mixture into meatballs. Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake in 350 F (180 C) oven for about 13 minutes or until no longer pink inside and light golden.
