Herb Rub for Turkey
Prep time: 5 minutes
Yield: 2 tbsp (30 mL)
- 2 tsp (10 mL) dried rosemary
- 2 tsp (10 mL) dried sage leaves
- 1 tsp (5 mL) dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) each salt and garlic powder
- 1 turkey (about 6 to 10 lbs/3 to 4.5 kg)
In a small bowl, stir together rosemary, sage, thyme, salt and garlic powder. Rub under skin of turkey before roasting.
Tip: Double recipe for a larger turkey.
