Cheese stuffed Turkey Pesto Tenderloins

An easy recipe with three ingredients- turkey, pesto and Mozzarella cheese. It’s perfect for a quick weeknight meal.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Makes: 4 servings
What you need:
  • 4 Ontario turkey tenderloins
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) basil or sun dried tomato pesto
  • 3 oz (100 g) grated Mozzarella cheese
Make it Super:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut a slit lengthwise almost all the way through in each of the tenderloin pieces. Spread about 1 tbsp (15mL) pesto inside each opening; add grated cheese, dividing equally between 4 tenderloins. Close opening and hold with toothpicks. Brush tenderloins with remaining pesto.

Place on baking sheet; bake 25-30 minutes or until cooked through and turkey is no longer pink inside. Remove toothpicks and serve.
